Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing

System consists of a number of specialized programs, connected by common data exchange protocols, which enables quick and convenient data processing without need for multiple data input. Interview once input by interviewer will not need multiple hand rewriting by another person, which lessens chance for mistakes and raises quality of public opinion research on the very high level. Interviews done with specialized software also help to avoid mistakes coming from the human factor, data accuracy control and question randomization (demanded for reliability) are provided as well.
CAPI system is used fully, probation and preparation period is over. Currently there are 250 people working on the project – designers, interviewers, supervisors. Work efficiency, quality and possibilities given by CAPI system are without comparison higher, than before, when pencil and paper were used.
