In Depth Interviews - those are meetings aimed at gaining information from one person.
 
This data collection method allows to:
  • Data collection in the situation when group interaction does not help to „open” the participants.
  • Learn the specific language used by the participant while talking about the product (or service).
  • Learn about individual motivation and consument’s customs.
 
This method is applied also when group research is difficult, for example: group of specialists or top managers.
