Badania produktuUp to 40 percent of attempts to introduce new products to the market fails. The reasons are many: the idea may be good, but the market is not sufficiently large, or the product is underdeveloped. Sometimes, however, the idea is not good, but forced by managers despite the research findings.

 

In the future, the introduction of new products could prove to be even more difficult because of the fragmentation of markets, globalization, competition (including competition of ideas) and finally due to regulations introduced by governments. Introducing new products is, therefore, always risky.

 

The function of marketing research is to minimize that risk. Therefore, in model generating the new market researcher is involved in all stages, ranging from generating ideas, through their screening, development and test of the concept, through to tracking the effects of a marketing campaign to market. For the researcher, they are some of the most exciting projects.
