CAWI

Advantages of conducting research on the Internet
- REACH - almost half of people aged 15-75 use the Internet. This percentage is most attractive for marketers to target groups. Amongst the younger generations, and people with higher education and higher income, Internet penetration is almost complete, fluctuating around 90%.
AVAILABILITY - Internet service provides links to various, often very narrow groups of respondents as representatives of various professional groups, people in high positions, consumers of brand X, etc.
- SPEED - Implementation of the survey is much shorter than the traditional tests. Preliminary results can be obtained after 2-3 days.
- LOW COST - No cost for field work, printing and delivery of materials, or salaries for interviewers, make the cost of online surveys very attractive.
- MULTIMEDIA - To online questionnaires you can easily add multimedia elements such as pictures or videos. Therefore online research works well for testing ads or packaging. Additionally, there is the possibility of using advanced methods to bring the aim closer
- INTERACTIVITY - It is possible to modify the set and sequence of questions depending on the response rate, so you can conduct more precise tests by eliminating some of the questions or answers.
How we test CAWI
- Our own email address database (particularly useful for B2B research, such as doctors database),
- E-mail database from the client (eg, base of their own employees),
- Panels (base recruited of people who fill out surveys for gratuity)
- Polls activated on the website (ie Client’s website).
- PBS carries out research in each of the above mentioned methods, using their own solutions, or in cooperation with selected partners, such as the panel studies.
- In studies CAWI response rates are a problem, and one of the solutions to help maintain a higher rate of filling is to link CAWI with CATI. PBS often use an additional form of stimulation among the respondents in the base, by calling respondents to complete a CAWI questionnaire. We also carry out projects whose first stage is a CATI phase, and the rest of the project is carried out by CAWI (this allows you to reach difficult groups, such as specialty occupations and minimizes the cost of a more expensive CATI research).
